Product Description: Acrylitex Base/Topcoat and Texture Coat are acrylic coatings designed for use on interior walls and ceilings. The coatings are applied as a two-step system, exhibiting rapid drying characteristics. They create a durable, flame and mildew resistant finished surface for orange peel and knockdown textures.
Coverage: Basecoat – 200-225 square feet per gallon. Texture Coat coverage will vary according to type of texture desired. See Product Data Sheet.
Packaging: Available in 5 gallon pails.
Colors: Available in any pastel/mid tone color. All product is factory tinted and a special order.
Preparation for Substrates of Gypsum, Plaster and Concrete: Surfaces must be clean, dry, sound and properly cured; surfaces must be free of sanding dust, dirt, oil, grease, and mildew. Surfaces must be free of chalking, blistering, peeling, cracking and delaminating. See Acrylitex Product Data Sheet for detailed information on preparation of substrates.
Application Equipment: Apply Acrylitex Basecoat with a commercial grade airless sprayer or paint roller. Apply Acrylitex Texture Coat with Kodiak portable texture sprayer, spray rig or hand-held hopper. Clean tools, equipment and skin with soapy water and rinse.
Application: Acrylitex products may be applied by skilled tradesmen in the paint and/or texture fields. Product is bucket ready. No thinning necessary.
Manufacturer’s Warranty: The warranty period is five years commencing with date of substantial completion. Manufacturer warrants that finished surfaces will not exhibit peeling or flaking under normal conditions of exposure and wear when the materials are applied according to manufacturer’s instructions.
